A hearty welcome!

High, higher, Berwang: with its location at more than 1,300 meters above sea level, Berwang is a so-called Haufendorf. Berwang is the highest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena. Berwang gets its name from "ber" and "wang" meaning Bear Meadow.
Berwang connects the Berwangertal with the Rotlechtal valley. The mountain villages of Kleinstockach and Bichlbächle are part of Berwangertal. Brand, Mitteregg and Rinnen, on the other hand, are in the Rotlechtal valley. Berwang is about 700 km from the Dutch border just before the Fernpass.

An old farmhouse from 1746 houses our Lodge. The building has been totally renovated inside but details from the past are still visible. Our Lodge has 8 rooms in a real Tyrolean style but with all the comfort and luxury one could wish for. Our house is characterized by the family atmosphere. We like to welcome you as a guest in our home. And it can just happen that grandma helps in the kitchen or that you run into one of our children. Both in winter and in summer the nature here is breathtakingly beautiful and a wonderful base for an active vacation.
