There are several things that skiers and snowboarders appreciate about a ski vacation in Berwang. The first and perhaps most important is the altitude of our village. As you know, we are the highest village in the Zugspitze Arena which makes us snow-sure. In addition, the slopes of Berwang run right into the center of the village. Our lodge is located 350 m and 500 m from the Sonnalmbahn and Egghoflift respectively. In total we have 36 km of ski slopes in Berwang connected by 12 elevators.
Cross-country skiers will also find perfectly prepared trails at different altitudes here. Berwang has 3 trails of 10 km together but in the entire Zugspitze Arena there are 131 km of trails. We also have no less than 60 km of winter and snowshoe hikes in the region.
In addition, there are plenty of other activities such as a torchlight procession, llama walks, snowfun parks, ice skating and ice hockey!
